The Vertical Art Dance Angel Aerial™ Rigging Plate is a versatile and innovative piece of aerial hardware, designed specifically to replace traditional rigging plates used for aerial silks.

As the first decorative-style rigging plate engineered exclusively for the aerial arts industry, it offers a unique combination of functionality and aesthetic appeal.

This rigging plate is ideal for solo or duo apparatus setups. Its design allows it to be flipped “upside down,” enabling connections to any of the available points on the plate’s surface. The ergonomically designed wings also serve as convenient handles for added versatility.

Each carabiner Point of Connection (POC) features a heat-resistant rubber ring that reduces vibrations transferred to the carabiner. This ring also secures the connector in place and enforces proper orientation, minimizing the risk of cross-loading when the plate is used as directed. Ergonomically designed, the wings of the Angel allow your hands to fit comfortably, enabling additional dance poses when the plate is used as a minor apparatus

The Aerial Angel Rigging Plate™ is also an excellent choice for connecting two separate pieces of fabric to create a striking multi-color effect or effective teaching/demonstrating tool. It provides a smooth, rounded connection point for fabrics and can also be flipped upside down to utilize the open spaces on the wing tips. You can clip into any space on this plate! In this “upside-down” configuration, the plate functions as a “spreader bar” for silks set up in hammock mode.

While not an essential rigging tool, it is a unique and versatile accessory unlike anything previously available.
